Our lab has recently contributed a clinical guideline with practical handouts and other clinical resources to guide psychiatrists and other physicians in evidence based care for PMDD and particularly in the safe long-term use of GnRHa + stable addback for PMDD. The approach is based on meta-analytic evidence for benefit in clinical trials, as well as recent evidence that patients with PMDD can tolerate stable hormone addback over the long term (after an initial temporary symptom flare).
