The International Association For Premenstrual Disorders (IAPMD) was founded in 2013 as the National Association for Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (NAPMDD) by two people with severe, treatment-resistant premenstrual disorders - Amanda LaFleur and Sandi MacDonald. What began as a collective of fellow patients has grown into a comprehensive lifeline of support, information, and resources for anyone impacted by the core premenstrual disorders: Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder and Premenstrual Exacerbation of underlying disorders. In 2018, NAPMDD became IAPMD-- International Association for Premenstrual Disorders-- to broaden the focus to the global premenstrual disorder community.
